Better than the well-known Seinfeld adage of “a show about nothing”, an unconference is a planned get together to talk about the unplanned!

Unlike traditional conferences, an unconference is a participant-oriented meeting where the attendees decide on the agenda, discussion topics, workshops, and, often, even the time and venues. The informal and flexible program allows participants to suggest topics of their own interest and choose sessions accordingly.

This format is similar to coaching in that the attendees chose the agenda, not the organizers. Even more exciting is that the agenda is driven by our own experts - you! If there are discussion topics that are outside of our Chapter member’s expertise, the Chapter will organize presenters that can teach us about that content post-unconference.
